About Me
Hello, my name is Dominik Augustynowicz.
I originate from Poland and moved to the UK when I was young. Moving here at such a young age was difficult, I found myself having to adapt quickly, learn the language and make friends. Being a quick learner and being resilient are my most favourable attributes. Football has been one of my earliest hobbies, both participating and watching as I grew up. I have also always found myself to be creative, whether that be creating models or experimenting with software on the computer. Challenging myself has always led me to exceeding my expectations.
I have studied graphic design for almost 5 years, through college and University. Throughout this time, I have experimented and pushed myself out of comfort zones to gain further knowledge and understanding of the subject. I am versatile and quick at picking up new software, and am keen to push the boundaries on new projects. In my spare time at university, I completed a series of competitions and projects Green Connect and D&AD New Blood to help develop my skills in design, as well as teamwork.
I believe the skills I have developed through university has helped enhance myself as an individual. Along the way, I have been able to extend my knowledge within many programs such as the Adobe software in particular; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and others. Working on external projects has helped me work alongside a variety of individuals and develop my communications skills as well as organisation to maintain a high standard of work.
